Rayographs released their self-titled debut this week, they get compared to The Breeders everywhere but I don't really hear that. This song 'Space Of The Halls' builds up slowly and then gets much more interesting in the end.
I'm listening a lot to Sebadoh, I'm looking forward to the Bakesale reissue. This is a single from the album Harmacy, it's a more raw version than the one on the album.
This is a teaser from Wise Blood's new EP, out soon on Dovecote. Wise Blood's previousEP and single on Transparent from last year were great, but this track 'Loud Mouths' previewed last December, is the best.
He's currently on tour, check out the live video below.
Broken Water's mini album Peripheral Star was released last month. This track 'Stop Means Stop' is the most straightforward, the EP also has some more shoegaze inspired tracks. They remind me a bit of No Joy. Listen to the whole EP on bandcamp.
Wow this new 50 Foot Wave track doesn't sound grey at all. It's from the new record With Love From The Men's Room, the band release a new free track off it every month. Get the track and support the band here: http://50footwave.cashmusic.org/.
I'm still addicted to Moon Wiring Club's last record A Spare Tabby At The Cat's Wedding. The CD and LP versions have different contents. The LP is almost sold out, I think the last copy is here. There's a nice interview with MWC here.
