The Walkmen - Angela Surf City (Live)
I saw The Walkmen a few days ago, it was very good. The singing is really intense, I found this live video of 'Angela Surf City' that sounds like the live show.

Telepathe - Throw Away This
Finally Telepathe return with new music. I love their debut album Dance Mother, this track is more straightforward and reminds me of Ladytron. The single will be out soon and is backed with a track called 'Destroyer'. Go to Stereogum for the mp3.

Forest Swords - Kaibasa Claps / Trust Your Blood
Forest Swords released my favourite record of last year, I still listen to Dagger Paths a lot. No Pain In Pop reissue his demo CD-R on vinyl on June 20th. The demo's from the Fjree Feather EP are remastered, they have a much wider sound now. The 12" comes on white vinyl and the download is available now, go here.
There's much more Forest Swords here.

Wild Beasts - Burning / Deeper
I took some time to listen to the new Wild Beasts album, slowly it grew a bit and I started to like it. But today I played Two Dancers again, and it's much better. I miss the guitars the most I think. There are two tracks that I really like, 'Deeper' and 'Burning', they are below.

No Joy - Indigo Child (Stereolab Remix)
This Stereolab remix comes to me as surprise. I love No Joy's debut album and obviously I love Stereolab a lot, but them together I would never expect. It's also good that this proves that Stereolab is still alive.

Panda Bear - Slow Motion
I always love Animal Collective, especially live they're very good. I liked Panda Bear's solo stuff but I never listened to it a lot. His last album Tomboy slowly crept into my head and now I play it every day. This track 'Slow Motion' is great.

Bill Wells & Aidan Moffat - Glasgow Jubilee
Aidan Moffat is one of my heroes, I love his sarcastic lyrics. This collaboration with Bill Wells was just released. The video for the perfect single 'If You Keep Me In Your Heart' is here and the whole album is streaming here for a couple of weeks. Below 'Glasgow Jubilee'.

Salad - Shepherd's Isle
Salad's debut album Drink Me from 1995 was one of my favourite records of that year. They were influenced by Blondie and The Breeders. Mark Freegard, who produced Last Splash, produced Drink Me which you can hear in the strange and funny details.

Life Without Buildings - Is Is & The IRS
'Is Is & The IRS' is one of Life Without Building's best songs. It's not included on their first and only LP Any Other City, but it did appear on a live LP released a couple of years ago.
