No Joy - Indigo Child (Stereolab Remix)

This Stereolab remix comes to me as surprise. I love No Joy's debut album and obviously I love Stereolab a lot, but them together I would never expect. It's also good that this proves that Stereolab is still alive.

Stereolab - Supah Jaianto / Silver Sands /Everybody's Weird Except Me (from 'Not Music')

Three new tracks from Stereolab's rest material record Not Music, released later this month. The extensive version of 'Silver Sands' is great, it reminds me of this synthesizer greatest hits cassette I had when I was a kid.
There's an exclusive ltd. edition of 500 clear vinyls available from Rough Trade.

Laetitia Sadier - One Million Year Trip / By The Sea

Laetitia Sadier's first proper solo album sounds great, a lot fresher than her previous solo work with her other band Monade. The sound is more post-rock / krautrock and reminds me of early Stereolab records. Listen / download the tracks 'One Million Year Trip' and 'By The Sea' below.
Stereolab are still on a

'Hiatus / Sabbatical / Pause / Intermission / Breather'

The Trip tracklist:

01 One Million Year Trip
02 Fluid Sand
03 Our Interests Are the Same
04 The Natural Child
05 Statues Can Bend
06 By The Sea
07 Unfasten
08 Un Soir, Un Chien
09 Another Monster
10 Ceci Est Le Coeur
11 Summertime

Stereolab - John Cage Bubblegum

Stereolab influenced Atlas Sound and Broadcast. 'John Cage Bubblegum' is one of their earlier singles. This version is from ABC Music Radio 1 Sessions.
