Kate Jackson - The Atlantic / Homeward Bound

Kate Jackson used to be the singer in the Long Blondes. She's been writing solo stuff with Bernard Butler from Suede, last year she posted 'Homeward Bound' on her myspace. 'The Atlantic' is another track she wrote with Butler. She signed to EMI and says the record is going to be a big pop album.
She'll post a new song every other monday now, until she's playing live again.

The Long Blondes - Fulwood Babylon / Autonomy Boy

For quite some time I thought Kate Jackson from The Long Blondes sang People think I'm being perverse on purpose in this song 'Fulwood Babylon', but she actually sings People think I'm being the first on purpose.
It's a shame they broke up a few years ago, they were a lot of fun live. The only personal thing I have on stage here is my gin 'n tonic, Kate said last time I saw them.

The Bon Bon Club - Lullaby

The Bon Bon Club started when they were still playing bass and drums in The Long Blondes. They only play covers, their first 7" had Pulp's 'Love Is Blind' and Death From Above 1979's 'Romantic Rights'. You can still get it here. Now the drummer left and they released a new single Sex On Fire.
